Growing, Learning, Progressing in Literature
Born in Lynn, Massachusetts Marjory Wentworth grew up in nearby Swanpscott, a seaside community north of Boston. She was educated at Mt. Holyoke College, Oxford University, and New York University. Her poems have appeared in numerous books and magazines, including Point, Skirt and Brightleaf magazine. Most recently, her poems have been published with Mary Edna Fraser's art in a book of poetry and monotype prints called What the Water Gives Me. Ms. Wentworth teaches poetry in "Expressions of Healing"&an arts and healing program for cancer patients and their families at Roper Medical Center. She also teaches creative writing at the Charleston County School of Arts and currently resides in Mt. Pleasant.
